Love the paper for watercolour. Great size for experimenting before doing larger works. Have used for inks, acrylics, aqua pencils.

A great diary to just try different styles in. Great to look through when it's finished.

I use these for gouache painting. Love the thickness and quality of the paper. I like that it is a visual diary with 300gsm paper. It can be hard to find diary/sketchbooks that are 300gsm. I love the binder, ie how I can fold the front cover out of the way. I also like that I can remove the paper easily if I want to frame or scan the image. The books are easy to store or take with me to places where I have time to paint. I use them for Plein air painting, or sitting in my car etc. I've even sat in Maccas and started a painting.

Totally happy with my W & N Visual Diary, the 200gsm suits me fine as sometimes it suits me better when I'm using more pen than watercolour. I love the A5 size as well, it fits nicely into my handbag and ready for a sketch when I find time on my hands. The diary was delivered in good time and in perfect condition. I would prefer that the freight be a little less as it cost me almost as much as the book.
